Pin Inthaphone-Prum is an entrepreneur and community leader whose work is rooted in resilience, cultural pride, and purpose-driven impact. As Director of Curriculum for The Little TINGs, she develops programming that empowers women through personal growth, leadership, and real-world skill building. Born to Lao immigrant parents who fled their home country in 1989, she was raised in the United States with a deep understanding of sacrifice and opportunity. Growing up in public housing in Woonsocket, her entrepreneurial spirit emerged early at the age of 11. She began selling sticky rice and spring rolls door-to-door, and at 16, became the youngest chairperson of the Woonsocket Arts Festival. Hardship, including displacement after a family home fire, shaped her resilience and lifelong commitment to community.
Pin attended University of Rhode Island and joined the United States Air Force Reserve to support her education, strengthening her discipline and leadership. During a 2020 deployment to Kuwait, she became known as “The Chef in Combat Boots,” using food to bring comfort and connection to fellow service members. She later launched Operation RI Made, delivering Rhode Island-made care packages to deployed troops, and co-founded Rhode Island Southeast Asian Baggerz (RI S.E.A. Baggerz), a nonprofit cornhole league creating inclusive, family-centered spaces for cultural celebration and connection across New England. After experiencing significant family loss, she turned to holistic healing and storytelling as tools for growth, and today she brings that same intention into her leadership by creating spaces where others feel seen, supported, and empowered to step into their full potential.

Why The Little TINGs
The Little TINGs feels like a blank canvas that allows me to fully tap into creativity within intentionally designing and curating a program for women. In many ways, I’m building the kind of space I needed for my younger self as I was navigating the early stages of my career where I was seeking guidance, community, and needed a sense of direction.
This work aligns naturally with my purpose. It doesn’t feel forced, but instead feels like an extension of who I am. I’m supported and empowered which is something I’ve always been drawn to. Through The Little TINGs, I’m able to turn that passion into impact by helping others build confidence, find their voice, and step into their fullest potential.

Advice I Live By
The advice that I live by is, "Don’t mess with people’s time or money." Time is the one thing you can’t get back, and money represents someone’s hard work, sacrifice, and trust. Work smarter, not harder and enjoy life, because time waits for no one.
